i love a pink door.
right now i really really want to make rice pudding. but i have to wait until next sunday, our new treat night~for the new year. i have a new love for january-this started last year, with me trying to find the good in january. it worked. big time. there is something exciting about starting over. it is sad to put christmas away, but then exciting because things seem so clean and fresh. i like to do this while listening too my new nora jones cd very loud~while i do these chores. (christmas would not be christmas without a new cd that once can rock their soul too.) tomorrow is back to our routine, back to school for b-dog. b-dog graduates in may. we are moving in may. to who knows where. it is exciting and quite stressful. i listened to 'ice cream' by sara mc. it is funny how one song can bring back so many memories. i am thankful for moms who love there children and treat them with dignity. our neighbors invited us over for dinner and it was quite tasty. it made me think about how we meet people and become good friends-who help each other, who sometimes sees our kids more then family-then we move away and go our ways, and sometimes never see these friends again but~the memories last forever. i am grateful for good advice(doogs) and outstanding sugar cookies(brenda)and to a home that is always happy and welcoming, and where swearing is allowed. this is a shout out to the entire sprinkel family. i have a signed pioneer women cookbook, i am thinking of getting a safe deposit box just for it. bless me and bless amanda sprinkel.
