right now...

i am glad my little family is feeling better.

we have had a bad dose of the stomach flu.

but it felt more like the plague.

our home has been shut down all week.

people dropped of provisions at the door and ran,

without looking back.

yesterday i cleaned all the bedding....

all the doorknobs, all the lights,...and i am cleaning

everything i can think of....

now i am ready to get back into the christmas spirit and dream...

about all the things i need to make....

santa needs pumpkin roll.

the presents to wrap...and the last minute gifts to pick up.

and the memories to make.

i am enjoying this beautiful quote.

ten dollars, sugar cookies, and bells, and thankfulness and.....

i am thankful for this lovely fresh wreath.

my friend told me about them.

the fact that they are only ten dollars, is outstanding,

and that i had enough ribbon to make a lovely bow.

double bonus.

the best ten dollars i have spent in awhile.

i am grateful for sugar cookies.

and how i think i have eaten them all.

and little girls who dump the entire bottle of sprinkles on one cookie. ;)

i am thankful for these little garlands i made for all my doorways.

and i am grateful mostly for christmas time.

for people who ring bells outside of grocery stores.

for people who decorate their houses with christmas lights.

and for people who wave too you, when you are being a polite driver.

and for snow boots.

and for christmas stories.

and for christmas movies.

and for dreaming about being snowed in.

and for crowded stores, and good deals.

and turning 30.

i have never loved winter, until this year.

lately....

i love looking at my christmas tree....

i keep reminiscing of the first year we were married.

i came home with our first christmas ornaments together as a married couple,

mine was little bo peep...

bdogs ornament was puss in boots....

i love it!

deep down i think bdogs does too.

these vintage lights that i love so much,

almost caught my house on fire...

sadly i had to take them down....

my little dames are enjoying the snow.....

on this monday.....

first thing one of us did this morning...

eat graham crackers, while dipping them in milk.

then we spilled our milk.

and yes, we did cry over it.

after some scrambled eggs and toast,

we then get on our snow hat, and mittons...

and ask to go outside and play in the snow.

if only we had snow!

it was all okay as long as we turned on some

christmas music.

oh how i love this little dame!

right now.....

when i imagine november, i think it should look something like this.

i would really like to see this tea towel in my kitchen....

i have so so SO much housework to do right now.
i dream about making this wreath......
this little girl should be napping, not screaming....

i think of how quickly fall has come and gone....

happenings.

this past week was eventful.

i finished an interior design project, for twins! a boy and girl!

it was a blast!

i finished working on my screenprints, printed my tea towels.

i went to a weekend festival in richmond to sell them.

it was a blast.

i feel exhausted.

not to mention bdogs landed a sweet job!

we are so thankful!

falltime.

this past weekend finally felt like fall.

it rained. alot.

the leaves on the trees finally turned colorful, and beautiful.

the wind blew the leaves all around.

it was cloudy all weekend!

the heater is coming on regularly.

i had like 3 doughnuts.

we carved pumpkins.

we watched harry potter. the first one.

we need to wear sweaters to be warm.

bdogs pulled out his l.l.bean slippers, and his down vest.

i think fall is finally here!

bella painted these pictures.

this morning she walked into the kitchen and yelled,

"who painted these beautiful pictures!"

she knew it was her.

i love being a mom.

i love good music, that soothes the soul.

i love that trees are changing color in our backyard.

i love that we turned on the heater for the first time last week.

i love giant paper that my little girl can paint, so we can

hang on our wall.

i miss my artwork that is all packed

away.

but this is just as good!

a friends house tour.

this is my friend manda's house.

she is single. and a perfectionist at everything she does.

she has a house with long beautiful white drapes,

and a beautiful table with pretty lines.

the whole time i was there i was worried joley was going to barf on her pretty dream.

but she didn't. luckily.

i love seeing my friends homes. and how they live.
