peony. my FAVORITE flower. i need to go see my mom, because hers are about to bloom. i also love the painted nails in the photos. i forgot about painting my nails but today i will.

driving down one of my least favorite roads here, i saw a lady on memorial day planting a bunch of small pots of flowers. i wondered what she will do with those little pots of flowers? then as i drove on the same least favorite street today, i saw she put them on her stairs going up to her porch. two on each stair opposite from each other. it looks nice, and quite pleasant for my least favorite street that i have to drive down-it makes me happy. so thank-you lady for planting those cute pots of flowers on my least favorite street, reminding me that one person can make a difference, no matter how ugly the street.

this happens when you miss your nap, (or you refuse to nap) and the sound of music is on television. bella has never fallen asleep just sitting on me, or sitting anywhere for that matter, we loved it so much that we each took turns holding her while she slept. it was a great day.
things that we have been up too:
cleaning, (and never getting anything clean) shopping for new twin bedding, (something i love, something that i love so much that when finding not one, but TWO quilts that i love, and i can only get one, and i cry because i CANNOT make a decision. it was funny at the moment, and funny now that such a thing would bring me to tears.) going to barb -Q's. refusing to eat-and only eating if it is cookies. being so much fun! getting into stuff, saying our colors, except for orange. going to the grocery store and having to leave my groceries at the front of the store twice, because i cannot CANNOT remember my new pin number. schooling and goal achieving. dreaming. making goals, and thinking about making goals. enjoying warm weather with the windows open. drinking jamba juices, and listening to npr. being together.

we went home for a quick visit. the visit was packed and busy, i had some pampering done, i got a massage and a pedicure with my momma. (it was her birthday) went to a family party at bryan's. then on sunday we usually go home early, but this sunday we stayed, and stayed.... and let bella explore and explore my parents yard. i told them they can never ever move, i love their yard. the funny thing is bella had their entire yard to explore, however all that she wanted to too was run into the field and explore. everytime i turned around she was heading out the back gate, and trying to escape...but it did look green and enticing, with flowers to pick. it was so nice to just relax and sit outside, watch bella pick flowers, walk through the dirt, and enjoy herself. and not hear the sounds of the freeway, or worry about cars. just nice to see the mountains upclose, and just visit with both families, nice to listen to the birds....and my dads police scanner.

i have showed this photo before but i just LOVE this hallway! this is a better picture then mine.

i love driving through country towns and seeing laundry on laundry lines. i am going to have my own laundry line in my yard someday and hang my underoos with no shame. i love the smell of laundry and i love how my house smells as my laundry machines are busy laundering.
