bryan always talks about having a 'man room' when we have our own pad. one of his specifications is it must have a refrigerator. here you go bdogs, enjoy. here is a house tour for the man. it also got me so excited for summer. here is some things i love about summer....

memorial day.

pioneer woman has great photos of soliders coming home. you need to check them out. some of them brought tears to my little peepers.

memorial day has always been one of my favorite holidays. i love to go to visit the graves of passed on loved ones. it is sometimes so good to remember.

painted furniture.

i love painted furniture. especially bold moves like an orange round table. it is inexpensive, and makes huge impacts.

on being a girl.

last night, one of my best friends treated me to a fabulous dinner of creamy pesto pasta, water with a pretty strawberry in it, and with the big bang at the end, chocolate souffle. it was fabulous. i ate myself silly. we then went to her brand new house. it smelled of freshly painted walls, and of everything new. i loved this picture of the high heel shoesies. because she has shelves in her closet just for all her pretty high heeled shoesies. we laughed, and had a fabulous time.

here is a quote that pertains to nothing, but i like it.

dolly parton once said: i am not offended at all the dumb blonde jokes, because i know that i am not dumb, and i know that i am not blonde.

i am glad that i am a girl. i enjoy water with strawberries, chocolate souffles, laughter, fingernail polish, lipstick, perfume, pretty sheets with flowers, i love that i am lucky enough to have friends that make me feel fabulous, and remind me that i can do anything.

on this monday.....

my internet is back in the saddle again.... it is almost a full moon.... i went to my favorite children's store... i ate some yummy birthday cake... and i am enjoying this lovely inspiration.

i love vintage vw rabbits.

i love hanging out with old friends.

a fond memory.

it has been noted that i am a bad hugger.

i reach my arms out and pat.

one time during my single college years, i had a date.

two of my best friends decided to take matters into their own hands and teach me to hug properly.

we practiced the 'door scene.'

this resulted in bouts of laughter, and a fond memory.

i don't remember who i went out with that night, but i am sure he got the 'reach and pat.'

bella is a 'reach and pat' kind of a gal.

i guess some things are just hereditary.

dear lovies who read my blog,

internet is down. posts will resume hopefully soon.

being settled...but not too settled...

we have enjoyed the zoo....

the mountains....

we are dreaming of warm weather....

and we have enjoyed the airforce base museum. completely inspiring.

we are living it up....

for the first time ever, we say goodbye to the student life.

bdogs gets his thesis signed off tomorrow.

we have no idea where we will end up. does anyone?

we hope the government calls, and offers bdogs a job.

we hope this happens sooner, then later.

we are excited, and a little scared.

we are more scared that the subaru will die on the freeway.

we are excited that bella can run through the sprinklers on 'real grass'.

we hope that it doesn't rain, or snow, or have severe winds the day we move. we have never moved in 'pleasant weather.'
