pretty airstreams.... one day this is how we will spend our fourth!

so organized.

this week past week was crazy! i was able to see my sister and her kids whom i haven't seen in over a year! it was a blast! we have had car troubles that are not ending, but the student loans are! and a severe case of sinusitis that will NOT leave, but leaves me incapable of doing anything.

today things have to look up! so i found this pretty picture of airstreams, and this organized small kitchen. we are moving at the end of the month into SMALL student housing. so i am gearing up and figuring things out of living in smaller quarters then we do now, and staying organized. i am kind of excited for this and i have no idea why. a good challenge! happy monday!

memories of a michael mclean concert gone bad.

last night i relaxed in bed and watched girls just want to have fun. (and drank a pleasant diet cokes) i really love this movie, the music, the outfits, the quotes such as: "velcro. next to the walkman and tab it is the coolest invention of the 20th century." boy oh boy, haven't we come along way lynn stone? it brought back such fond memories. then i saw this first pictures of the wellies and i rememberd how my high school lady friends and i went to a michael mclean concert and got taunted and booed, because we wore wellies, with cute skirts, and we all looked fabulous. but it was too much too soon for the people attending the concert there. who taunts and booes other people at a christmas concert for goodness sake! (there was more then one, alot in fact.)

don't you love paper dolls? i do, and did growing up. one time my grandma M came back from london and gave me princess diana paper dolls. they were AMAZING! bella is gonna have some major paper dolls collections.

Right now, the skies are dark and cloudy. (like they have been all week) ever since i was a little lass i was certain good things happened on cloudy dark days, especially when the wind blew. it reminds me of this quote from the movie chocolat:

This week: Bella got a new 'vintage' radio flyer tricycle. pictures to come soon. moved into her big girl bed, equipped with sheets that i just adore, (and took months to acquire.) (again pictures to come soon) Went to the downeast tent sale and was sorely disappointed. ate at the olive garden. (its been years.) went for a nice country drive in the middle of the week! reading a good book. enjoying some cookies, and diet coke!

i like when people take the time to cook a really good dinner or meal, or dessert or breakfast, the special time it takes to make something really really good for your family. i like it when people try to take the time to be a good cook.

i like recipes when people make a good dinner and tell me what they did. (sara) and people that give me their entire recipe cd, so i can try to be a good cook too. (brieanne)

i like free samples of diet coke, and otis spunkmyer cookies at costco.

i like passionate people.

i like waterparks, and public swimming pools.

i like the sound of my washer and dryer as they work, and the lovely scent fresh laundry brings to my home.

i like the sound of a lawn mower in the morning, and people who take really good care of their yards, and take pride in gardening.

i like good phone conversations.

i like it when people set their tables pretty for dinner, or lunch.

i like the huge flea markets, and good garage sales.

i like driving my husband to school in the morning if his car breaks down.

i like school supplies, even though summer is barely beginning.

i like side ponytails on little girls.

i like summer. alot.

i like fire pits, and smores.

i like clean homes, and open windows.

i like seeing firework stands.

i love this blog i found this photo on. this photog reminds me when i was little-and swinging was an essential part of a summer day. i had this white outfit with stipes the colors of popsicles. i still miss that outfit. i wish i could find one for bella.
this friday i am:enjoying the summer rain. the sound is so soothing.
i hope:to get busy with my new screenprints, and get my esty shop running again.
i want:to have the TIME and ENERGY to screenprint.
i need:to get organized and pack what i am going to store away.
i wish:i could blast some good music and have it heard throughout my little abode. however it is naptime, and i do live in a townhome.
i bought:some delicious looking cherries today.
i might:go to some garage sales this weekend weather pending.
perhaps: i will read, instead of put laundry away!

i cannot believe this pantry! this is definantly not my moms pantry! sorry mom-things in this pantry have not been expired for 60 plus years! this person must have brenda sprinkel working for them to keep everything so pristine-and organinzed!
