bella being held upside down by her daddy. bella elated that she will be a big sister but also warns, 'sister don't come between me and my man!'
(-note the song being played.)

i bought this card when i had bella, i framed it, if you can read the post card which i know it is impossible from my photo, it says this:
"IT'S A GIRL...a pink-blanket-toting, daddy's shoulder-riding, brother-blaming, miniature-porcelain-horse-collecting, Easy-Bake-Oven-cooking, difficult-question-asking, girl scout-cookie seeling, slumber-party-having, telephone-hogging, bedroom-door-locking, boy-band-loving, absolutly-unacceptalbe-outfit-wearing, bridal-magazine-reading, just-like-her Mother little girl, So congratulations, because that, I'm told, is about as good as it gets."
for us this is as good as it gets, and today we found out another little dame will be joining our family soon!

i love these picture arrangements on the wall...
today i ate the best thing ever. tuna salad with avocado, tomato, lettuce, green onions on a toasted parmeasan bagel. it was heaven. it was just what i needed. in fact i need another one. really badly. it made me happy, really happy, i am still happy to think about it. i am going to quit the news for awhile because i feel nothing but sad after watching it or reading it. so today i am focusing on happy things, grateful for just being alive-and being able to go to costco in the day with bry and bella. and i am grateful for reeses peanut butter easter eggs. my day will not be complete without one. and i am grateful it is warm enough i can sit here and type with an open window.

have you seen the tiny houses? i think this is very interesting. bry and i talk about when we are able to have our own house, and how we want it big enough for our family and what we need and nothing more. i talk about his with manda alot. having a rambler. not having rooms you don't go in everyday, or floors you never use. take a look at these, they are very interesting.
go here to look and see inside...http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/houses/xs-house/
love the colors in this small kitchen!
small but stylish!

what you ask? what is going on with us? well alot. b-dog has a 'big' presentation today, where he proposes to the school his research. the whole school is invited, but about 20-30 people come, professors, other graduate students whoever wants. this is a nerve-racking experience, he presents his work with a presentation, then people ask questions. this he is ready for, he is just worried about the presentation, although it is very interesting. i am excited for him, and know that he will do well. he can explain himself well. and i am proud of him. he works really hard, he even has 4.0 gradepoint average. you rock be-dog! then we have decided to move to really really small student housing. we will be able to only pick and choose what we take with us and it won't be much, but it is saving us money, alot of money, we will be living within the stipend he gets. we will be right by the school. it is a safe area, an area that has my favorite walking running routes. so this i am excited for. i am excited for the challenge of moving and making the place work and fit only what we need. i love design challenges and i know i can make it cool. the living room however is very very small. but i feel safe to go outside with bella and we have a little courtyard that is gated. which is nice. we will be moving right before the baby is born. this is something i am a little nervous about. bella is getting big, she loves to do everything by herself with no help. yesterday she ate a pear, she ate the entire pear, with juice running down her arms, mouth and chin, and she would shut her eyes while taking a bite, in heaven! sometimes life seems like nothing is happening, then you realize life is happening!
