some lovely things.

Mrs. Bennet: Oh, my goodness. Everybody behave naturally.

this week i have watched pride and prejudice twice.
maybe tomorrow while i do some things little women will be turned on.
and maybe i will make some soup...
maybe the weather will turn cold.
and i will have to wear sweaters.
i need to go for a long car ride.
and listen to fall music.
and eat cinnamon rolls.
and doughnuts.

happy happy wednesday!

some things to share...

i have made a wish.. .
and i want all, i repeat all
the editions paumes books for my 20 10 birthday...
i don't care if they are all written in japanese...
.

i feel like this is my youngest daughters motto....

i think this is so beautiful...
i love hearts, and anything thats made into a garland...

orange is fantastic....

i can't wait too put on my boots...

japanese lanterns...
oh how i love autumn....
where are you?

i love pretty dishes...

do you remember this from last year?
i do.
it is back....
and it needs a place, beside in my heart,
it needs to be in my home.

i need some polka dot sheets please....

and i saved the best for last.
although these are flannel,
and i have issues with flannel anything....
but these sheets are just so pretty.

that is all.

ohhh....i also want the weather to turn cold.
and the leaves to change.
and the leaves to blow around outside.
and i want to watch the lady in white, and eat carmel popcorns.
and smell the smell of wood burning fireplaces.
and i want to carve pumpkins....

lately.

"one person can make a difference, and every person should try."-john kennedy

lately, i worried i picked the wrong profession.

i worry i should have been a nurse.

for reasons, like in a bad economy, they always have

a job. and they only have to work like one day a week.

however, i am not good at chemistry.

and i feel bad for people, really bad for people.

i think i would cry all day.

and i have the nose of a bloodhound.

smells make me sick.

not to mention i am forgetful. and i like drawing or painting

couches wayyy to much.

then today my mom told me about a design show she watched.

a man had a disease, and it was in his final stages.

and his wife wanted his room to be beautiful.

so he could die in a beautiful place.

the designer made the hospital bed,

not look like a hospital bed.

she made it a 'family' room.

where the kids could play with their toys, and be

by their dad.

where he could watch, and be with his family,

in the comfort of his own bed.

and it ended up becoming a beautiful,

and a happy final resting place.

and it was a good story.

and i did not do it justice.

but i realize that we all have our own talents.

and then i read this quote...

"the person born with a talent they are meant to use

will find their greatest happiness in using it."

-johann wolfgagn von goethe

sometimes i think i just need to grow up.

and be happy for who i am. :)

happy happy wednesday!

rebellious me.

i just love love love this.
it is cluttered.
busy.
there are little children that live here.
and it shows.
which is fabulous.
there is twinkle lights.
and little lamps.
how cozy it must be at night.
what is not to love?
i like homemade pillows.

i think i want this for my birthday....
i love this photo.

i like this sign. i think it is quite clever.
i dream of displaying my fiesta ware just like this.

this is so clever and perfect for autumn time...
or anytime. i love the color.

i want my children to have a
night light just like this.
i got my hallowe'en stuff out yesterday.
bella was in heaven. so was i.

i painted this.
i love cheap watercolors,
and cheap paper.
and no pressure to do anything perfect,
but just paint what i want.

i really love this hallway, that i post every year....

and i love this kitchen.

last week i could not blog.

i could not sit down at my computer.

i think i was overloaded.

i found inspiration off the computer.

i found it at pettingales while buying a peck of peaches, that we ate in a week.

i found it seeing fields with hay bales.

i found it putting on sweaters, because it was coldish out.

i found it going to watch utah state play idaho state.

i found it everywhere i looked, except online.

i wish i was a picture taker, i would have shared my photos with you...

but i guess you just have to believe me.

sometimes you just have to get offline.

fallish.

i found this lovely photo, of one of my most favorite rooms ever. i just love this room, the heart sheets, the lovely books, the plaid blanket at the end of the bed, the window- to sit and dream, the wall paper. its everything a bedroom should be.

this kitchen looks so crisp, i can imagine canning in here...
fall reminds me of little stores, scarves, jackets, and flowers. ...
canning....
and having a lovely party....

here is a lovely poem....

The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.
