in raptures.

i dare say that september for me has been pride and prejudice month.

i have watched both movies, the 2005 version, and the 1995 version.

i have watched the 2005 way too many times. as i clean, or cook dinner, or work on my screenprints. i never tire of it.

i do love the 2005 version much better, although it does not follow the book, the characters are as close to as i have imagined in the book.

i have read the book as well.

everytime i read it, it is as though i have never read it before, some lines stand out more then others. such as this....

elizabeth writing to her aunt, mrs. gardiner, telling her of her engagement to mr. darcy:

"i am the happiest creature in the world. perhaps other people have said so before, but not one with such justice. i am happier even than jane; she only smiles, i laugh."

thank you jane austen.

happy happy monday!
