Right now...

it is 12:28 a.m. i am listening to my new favorite band ever matteo. thank you doug fabrizo. i have dishes to finish in the sink. however.... i feel really inspired right now and i finding lots of things that are inspiring me. maybe it is because i am so tired. and i will be so tired in the morning. but i feel happy. i like having all this time to myself with no distractions. sometimes you need some time to yourself, to remind you of who you are, and who you want to be. photos via:http://absolutelybeautifulthings.blogspot.com

today was a happy happy day.

i set up for an art show, and my

girls did not touch one thing....

but they wanted too!

they were so good...

we dyed easter eggs,

we ate a chic-fil-a,

went grocery shopping,

ate pigs in a blanket while we

watched the brady bunch...

and i rocked each girl to sleep!

and i love love love being a mom!

march days.

the past few weeks i have been working like crazy on my art stuff.

working like crazy on my house.

working like crazy being a mom.

and just working like crazy.

today i feel like i needed a change so i took a break and decided to blog.

because after all, march is one of my most favorite months.

and one of my favorite sayings is "march comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb."

today we played in the yard, i did some clean up and the girls played in dirt.

then we went to the park and played at the playground.

we opened the windows and listened to pandora.

it has been lovely.

so i have decided i need to to my favorites list:

my favorite things about march:

windy weather

cloudy windy weather

st. patricks day

green grass poking through the dirt

days when 50 degrees feels like 90

open windows

country music

sugar cookies in the shape of clovers

greenhouses

robin eggs

spring movies like, sense and sensibility

birds chirping

cadbury chocolate eggs

crisp spring walks

the happy feeling of change.

living.

this is my fridge. it has lots of things on it. post cards, quotes, hand drawn photos, a collection of eames stamps. it is random. but i love looking at it. i love that i feel inspired by it every time i use it. the only draw back. children who love to pull everything off it.

this is my chalkboard of inspiration. i love that its big and orange. and that i can do anything with it. like lists some of the things i am thankful for.

right now i am reading a book to get me motivated. it is a book titled 'a perfectly kept house is the sign of a misspent life". in the dedication the author writes:

the story of this old house.

we bought this lovely home.

it has a basement apartment.

that didn't look like this. (and this picture isn't even with it done)

in fact if we had taken before pictures, you wouldn't believe that it was the same basement.

or the amount of blood sweat and tears this basement took.

we have had water problems, more water problems, all kinds of problems.

we had too put the upstairs on hold to finish the downstairs. then....

we finally finished the basement to be rented out for october.

we rented it out to two girls who love it, and made it really cool.

and now my goal for before thanksgiving is to finish the upstairs.

the husband does not know about this goal.

he is still burned out from the how much work the basement took.

and to be honest i am too.

but i am dreaming of my house being homey and cozy and my kind of perfect.

and having all the walls painted, and no blue tape anywhere to be found.

i think i will finish painting the baseboards tonight.

look at these lovely photos of this honeymoon.

however the airstream steals the show.

i wish i had time to look at lovely photos and blog...

however we moved into a new old home.

and with this came unexpected problems that occur

with older homes.

like a backed up sewer, leaky swamp coolers...painting,

painting and painting that never ends.

however once my computer is set up, and i am ready

photos are too come.

it is alot of hard work, and we have alot to do. and we

have learned alot and we are tired. but it is kind of

starting to feel like home.

this week i hope to get my computer up and running

and share photos of our progress. and of our lovely home.

it is good to be back online and look at photos that inspire

me that our hard work will pay off!

today...

i cannot believe a year has gone by....

and to believe we actually might be moving!

i am decluttering, and dejunking, and creating more and more messes.

i am wearing my favorite yoga pants, i made my favorite dinner,

and it looks like after this long year, that went by so quickly, and long,

we might finally be moving into our own house...(fingers crossed!)

that we finally will be able to remodel and paint and use our own drapes,

pick our own flooring....all on a very tight budget.

it sounds like heaven to me!

i wish i could have a day just to do this...

i love this bedroom....

i love more then anything being a momma.

our life is full of madness.

time keeps flying by.

we went on a dream vacation with family.

we almost bought a house.

and that one didn't work out.

and now we our buying another house...

and hopefully it will work out.

because i love it.

it has lovely built ins. and it is old,

and has an art deco fireplace.

all we do lately is eat creamies,

and run from one place to the next.

and all i want to do is be with my little

family.

hopefully things will settle down soon.

and we will finally finally get settled!
