getting cozy with gramma and will, during the wind storm!

pretty view

animal crackers are enjoyable.
on saturday we met my parents in logan for a utah state football game. it was a blast! growing up my dad bought season tickets, and we went during rain, snow, wind. we sat at the same seats year after year up to now. i have memories of going into the bathroom and putting my hands in front of the hand dryer in the ladies room to get warm. it was now my time to take my baby girl, i must say it was so very stressful, because it got windy and cold and rainy, then it would be hot. she was a good little fan, and even clapped when everyone was cheering during a touchdown. i feel very happy. i have been thinking about bryan and i and our family. these days are so carefree. i am very lucky to be a mother, and i do know that the time i have with baby girl is so limited. before i know it, she will be in school, and grown up. i have been thinking this week of how i hear mothers complain about being home. this upsets me. i know that i am not a career woman right now, but i am a happy mother. only because i
choose to be. i know my time home will be over before i know it. i do not want to cut myself short of this time. maybe i did not save the interior design world this week, and i am not in utah style and design for my interior design achievements, or i am not on the today show, and i am not going to india to pick out fabric. what i have done all week is be a mom to my amazing daughter. i know things get mundane and it is up to ourselves to change things up, and make our homes interesting, not only for our family but for ourselves. while i am at home, i will not take this for granted. this morning i made cinnamon rolls from scratch. something i have never done, and they look amazing. i have never made dough before, or anything like this but it feels good to be my kind of industrious. i have a happy, grateful heart today.

I have your same type of heart in being a mommy! I love it. Yes, your time is limited in Bella being the only one, but your heart just grows with each one and they do grow up but it sure is fun watching them. My house used to be immaculate, never quite stylish like yours, but now I have the fun memories of seeing my kids make batman brownies by themselves and making a mess. What a fun time this is! Congrats on your first cinnamon rolls. Yum! I love the fall time and football games too.
